Frequently Asked Questions

We believe clarity builds better partnerships. Here are answers to some of the most common questions we receive about our approach, process, and services. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, we’re always happy to continue the conversation.

  • YtC Creative is a boutique commercial content studio and creative agency specializing in food photography, beverage photography, product photography, and packaging photography for consumer brands.

In addition to photography, we provide commercial videography, creative direction, content strategy, and AI-enhanced production workflows, allowing us to support brands from concept through execution with clarity and intention.

We primarily work with food, beverage, and product companies that value refined visuals, strategic thinking, and long-term brand consistency.

  • Our studio is based in Norwalk, Connecticut, serving the greater New York City area and clients nationwide.

We regularly work throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Westchester County, Fairfield County, and across Connecticut, and we frequently shoot on location for restaurants, brands, and production facilities. We also partner with clients across the United States through a combination of travel and remote collaboration.

  • While photography is at the core of what we do, we operate as a creative partner, not just a production vendor. Every project is guided by strategy, brand context, and intended usage — not just aesthetics.

    Our work is distinguished by:

    • A strategic, advisory-led approach

    • End-to-end creative capability (strategy, direction, production, post)

    • AI-enhanced workflows that increase efficiency and creative flexibility

    • A boutique, high-touch experience led directly by senior creatives

    • Deep specialization in food, beverage, and consumer products

  • Yes. We provide commercial videography and motion content alongside photography, including short-form video, product demonstrations, recipe and process videos, social media content, and brand storytelling assets.

Many clients opt for hybrid photo + video productions, allowing us to create a cohesive content library efficiently from a single shoot day.

  • Both. Our Norwalk studio is fully equipped for controlled food, beverage, product, and packaged goods photography, while on-location shoots are ideal for restaurant photography, some lifestyle content, production facilities, and brand environments.

We bring full lighting and production equipment to create studio-quality results on site.

  • Our process follows three core phases:

Discovery – We immerse ourselves in your brand, market, and goals to establish a clear creative direction.
Creation – We execute with precision, crafting imagery and content with careful attention to composition, lighting, and storytelling.
Refinement – Post-production ensures every asset is polished, consistent, and ready for use across platforms.

Clients are involved at key milestones, while we manage the details and execution.

  • We work with brands at various stages of growth, including:

    • Food brands and restaurants

    • Beverage companies (spirits, wine, beer, coffee, non-alcoholic)

    • Consumer packaged goods (CPG)

    • Direct-to-consumer and e-commerce brands

    • Hospitality, lifestyle, and product companies

From emerging startups to established regional, national, and international brands, we tailor our approach to each client’s objectives, scale, and budget.

  • Yes. We partner with both.

For emerging brands, we help establish a strong visual foundation through strategic guidance and essential content creation.
For established brands, we support content refreshes, campaigns, and ongoing creative partnerships that maintain consistency while evolving the brand.

Many of our longest relationships began when clients were early-stage companies.

  • We offer curated collections designed for common brand needs, as well as fully bespoke engagements and ongoing creative retainers.

Some clients begin with a defined package, while others prefer a custom scope or evolve into a long-term partnership. All work is tailored to fit the brand and objectives.

  • Pricing varies based on scope, complexity, deliverables, and usage rights. As a boutique studio, we focus on quality over volume and work with brands that have established budgets for professional creative services.

We discuss goals and expectations during an initial consultation, then provide a transparent proposal aligned with your needs.

  • Most projects are completed within 3–6 weeks from initial consultation to final delivery, depending on scope.

For time-sensitive launches or campaigns, expedited timelines may be available. Retainer clients receive priority scheduling and faster turnaround for ongoing needs.

  • All projects include thoughtful pre-production planning, professional production, and refined post-production. Deliverables typically can include:

    • High-resolution files for print

    • Web-optimized images

    • Social media-formatted assets

    • Organized file delivery and asset libraries

Additional services such as food styling, prop styling, videography, and content strategy can be included as needed.

  • We use AI as a supportive tool, not a replacement for craft. It enhances efficiency, ideation, and scalability while preserving the authenticity and quality of traditional photography.

This hybrid approach allows us to deliver more value, flexibility, and creative exploration without compromising standards.

  • The first step is a consultation. This allows us to understand your needs, assess fit, and discuss how we can best support your brand. From there, we’ll outline a tailored approach and next steps.

  • We’re intentional about the partnerships we take on. We work best with brands that value thoughtful planning, refined craft, and strategic collaboration—whether for a single campaign or large-scale content production. If your priority is the lowest-cost option or purely generic imagery without creative consideration, we may not be the right fit.
